Vuleka continues to accomplish all it does with the help of supporters all around the world.  Many of our donors, especially those on the pupil support programme, prefer to give anonymously as part of their Christian giving, but we have tried to make it easier for our friends to give tax efficiently wherever possible.  Vuleka supporters are known affectionately as "Friends of Vuleka".

• Vuleka is registered with SARS as a Public Benefit Organisation in South Africa: ref 18/11/13/2814; and with the Department of Social Development as a Non Profit Organisation: ref 007-155 NPO.  Donations are deductible by the donor from taxable income.  Vuleka issues tax certificates which have to be submitted to SARS together with the donor's income tax return in respect of the year of assessment in which the donation is made.

• Vuleka has registered with the American Fund of Charities, c/o Chapel & York, 601 Pennsylvania Ave NW, Suite 900, South Building, Washington DC 20004, USA.  The American Fund for Charities provides 501(c)(3) status for small organisations and supplies the paperwork necessary for US citizens to get a tax deduction on donations to member non-profit organisations.  To reach their payments page see the button on our home page.
