St Michael's

St Michael's began as an Early Learning Centre, but at the end of 2008 we and the church decided to grow this venue into our third primary school. At the moment we have Grade 0 to Grade 6 classes there, taught by Jeanette Mofokeng, Charmaine Goyns, Angelina Nyoni, Barbara Standing, Zukiswa Kinana, Sarnel Holloway and Victoria Mwape, with the help of Rhulani Mlambo (student teacher), Nomsa Sibisi and Sindi Sibisi. In 2013 this venue will finally be a full primary school with the addition of Grade 7. Sharon Walker is the Deputy Head, Weltevreden Park.
In 2008 we built two new prefab classrooms, which house the Grade 1 and Grade 2 classes. Last year we built a wonderful new building with classrooms, a computer and media centre, counselling room and office, which will enable us to grow this school up to Grade 7.
